"This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. "

"My sister and I loved our stay and will definitely rent again. Wendy was a wonderful and thoughtful host. The bunkie was adorable, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were right on the water and the view sitting on our private deck was stunning. We also enjoyed use of the paddle boat, kayaks and canoe. Such a relaxing and fun vacation! Most of our time was spent on the deck looking at the beautiful view, the dock or on the water in their kayaks. "We were a large party of 15. There was ample room that no one got in anyone’s way. Soooo much for everyone to be entertained. Can’t swim off the dock but the use of kayaks etc was amazing. Game room was a hit as was the hot tub. Massage chair was amazing. Property was large and beautiful. Private spot so we didn’t need to be afraid that we were too noisy. Plenty of essentials provided for cooking. Very responsive host. "

"Absolutely loved it. Kids and dog loved the suave and we all sieht s out of time exporting the shallow rapids and counting the different birds we saw. We met Cheryl briefly and she recommended we take reclining lawn chairs to the front lawn to watch the stars - we did that after a fire and it was fantastic. Lots of games, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We rented a canoe from McReary Resort siren the road and also made a day trip to Murphys Point. Just loved it! "

"Potato island was absolutely perfect for our family, and we had a fun, relaxing week long stay. The cottage is older..rustic but very clean and had everything needed for prepping food. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and we felt so mentally refreshed. The kids swam every day rain or shine, we went canoeing, read books, sat around the camp fire, played games, and the dogs had a blast running around the island. As an owner of three small dogs, this was a huge stress...
