"All staff were excellent. Issues were with the property, that has a 4 star ranking. No room service, no included breakfast, parking charges, $20 for a glass of wine in downstairs bar, overpriced restaurant on top level, cheap uncomfortable pillows, housekeeping upon request, hot water in the shower after leaving on for 10-15 minutes, no microwave, no minibar, two very small drawers, no turndown service, bathroom sinks do not drain properly, room temperature will not go below 66 degrees....

"The Spartanburg Marriott is a lovely place in great condition with high end finishes in the common areas, a convenient parking garage on site, clean and comfortable rooms and a helpful staff. We've stayed multiple times, for one night at a time, when passing through the area. It's worth the short drive from the interstate to stay in a place that is quiet and welcoming. We'll be staying there again, and again."

"The room looked to be remodeled with new floor, new bathtub surround, new sink, new mirror, new toilet, new TV stand and TV. Mattress was not comfortable for me. The phone in the room did not work. Housekeeping was zero. Bath, hand and wash towels were present at check in. No housekeeping on the second day. Had to get clean towels from the front desk. The third night I had to find someone in housekeeping to get clean towels. The room was nonsmoking but obvious it had been smoked in. I reported...

"This hotel was a disaster from the beginning. Its office hours are 11am - 7pm. I had to call someone to be able to check in! It had a big warning sign on the office window that if you backed in to your parking space you would be towed! My room only had two lights on the wall as I think the main light on the ceiling had been replaced with a smoke alarm. The room was very dim as one of the 2 lights was only 25 watts. None of the sinks or bathtub had a drain stopper. It had a full size...

"The hotel itself is comfortable but we had asked for late checkout the night before we were to leave and were told we could stay until 1pm. At 11am the housekeeper knocked on the door, and then at 11:35 the front desk called and said we needed to be out by noon or we’d be charged for a half day, and that there was nothing in the computer about late checkout. It was a very stressful end to our trip."

Once I got my key, I had to drive to behind the man building and it was kind of hard to see because there were no signs or street lights. "Bugs in room, stains all over carpets in hallways, smelled bad, fire alarm went off at 8 am. "

"Took three different room tries to get us in a room. First room we were to be in was having an ozone treatment. Second room had not been cleaned thoroughly. Third room which we finally stayed in had a disconnected fire alarm and no nozzle on the water connector. I took a picture of this. Tara who was working the front desk was excellent in trying to help us. She said management was going to offer us a discount but haven't seen it come through yet. "
