"Stayed for one night. Had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The food was excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet choices were amazing. We stay here every year on our way to Portugal. Just love the place. We took our two dogs with us. The staff are very friendly and really helpful."

"Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. "

"Parking is 3 or 4 spaces. When available Room needed a clean. Floor had not been hoovered widnow and mirror both smeared Kettle was disgusting with the contents full of mould and smelling awful The shower needs repair around the plug hole and water pressure is poor Had to use the communal shower elsewhere in the building "

"Upon arrival, I was initially assigned an occupied room. The place was unstaffed, and the provided phone number was unreachable. I had to ask other guests for an alternative number. I called, texted, and left a WhatsApp message on that number, but received no response for at least an hour.When I finally received a text message with details for a new room, I found the bed was broken and the room was freezing cold. A staff member told me he would come to fix the issue but ultimately never showed...

"Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here."

"Beautiful property, polite staff. The facilities deserve attention and investment. The coffee is bureaucratic, artisanal, and slow. I paid in advance and any time i enjoyed!"
