Tarbucks Hill - Sleeps 6 - 3 King Suites - Inground Pool - Hot Tub - Two Outdoor Fireplaces

Tarbucks Hill is a cozy cabin located on Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Alabama. The cabin offers an indescribable 180-degree view of the mountains into Georgia and Tennessee. The beautiful valley below is full of wildflowers, lakes, cows, and horses grazing. Listen for the whistle of the train, watch the soaring eagles, and gaze at the starlit skies. You will not find a more peaceful place to enjoy time with family and friends.

The amazing outdoor living space is so relaxing and peaceful. The minute you arrive at Tarbucks Hill, relaxation sets in. The cabin boasts a beautiful front porch complete with rocking chairs. It offers a pool and hot tub overlooking the brow. There are two outdoor fireplaces one on the covered back porch. There is a small playground for the kids to enjoy. You will find plenty of outdoor seating for relaxation with views and sunsets that will make you never want to leave.

The interior of the cabin is decorated with all the charm of a mountain cabin and equipped with all the comforts of your home. The cabin includes 3 king bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The kitchen is well-stocked and has both a regular coffee maker and Keurig. There are two dens one with both a pool table and a shuffle board table. This is a great place for a family gathering.

** Due to the increase price of propane their is a one time fee for the heated hot tub. It will be on and hot for your entire trip. The fee is $150. Please let me know if you want to opt out of using the hot tub and I can take off the fee. Also, please note the pool is not heated.

We booked the cabin to unplug for good family time. The cabin was perfect! We loved the game tables and seclusion of the cabin. But a short drive and we enjoyed dinner in Chattanooga! Cabin was clean and the check-in process was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

The view was amazing! And could be enjoyed from the inside as well as the outside due to the large windows.The outside fireplaces were enjoyed as much as weather permitted. However, it was cold and rained a couple of nights during our stay. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful. Weather only allowed us to use it once during our stay.There are great indoor activities. A pool table, indoor shuffleboard and a mini pool table and TV's. We were never looking for something to do. The owners have stocked the kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals for 6-8 people. Beds were comfortable.There was no closet available in the Master bedroom, so you should limit hangup clothes.Overall, we had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday.

We really enjoyed our short stay here! The views are incredible and the outdoor area (pool, spa, fireplaces) was exceptionally nice. The only strange part was the lack of a closet in the master bedroom. A clothes rack would have been helpful, but we definitely managed without it, given our short stay. Also, for larger groups, there's not a lot of dining space - only a small table with 4 chairs and the island with 2 barstools. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was my second time to stay here. We love the house and rent it because of the great view and for the pool and hot tub. It is hard to find anything like that with a pool. I do feel for the money we pay the place should be in mint condition. This trip when we arrived the pool had a lot of leaves in it, hot tub wasn’t on, the yard needed mowed, the grill igniter didn’t work so you couldn’t use the grill and no lighter or matches were to be found, The pool deck had busted floats torn pool noodles and things left laying around, and cobwebs everywhere. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid this go around.

This property is beautiful and very nice. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bed was to soft for me. I felt like I was sinking into the bed. The view is amazing! The swimming pool was very nice. The hot tub was not working so unfortunately we did not get to use it.

Best Place!!!

The was the best location for our girls trip. Every year we try to find a unique place, this year definitely was by far the best that we’ve stayed. Lisa has been great to help us with anything that we needed help with, the place was super clean, beautiful views. The pool was awesome. We just couldn’t ask for anything better. There are also several restaurants and gas stations within a 5 minute drive if you needed anything.
The perfect place to stay close to home for us but still be able to unplug and getaway.
The hot tub was perfection

Amazing

This cabin was amazing!!.The view was beautiful especially in the evening.Having a hot tub at a cabin is always great but also having a pool ,you couldn’t ask for anything better.Loved everything about this place from playing pool and shuffleboard to sitting outside during the evening rain.This is by far the best place we have booked .Looking forward to making this place a regular destination.

Best Vacation

This was our first visit at this cabin. We visit Mentone 4 or 5 a year. By far, this is the most gorgeous and pleasant place we’ve ever visited... The house is decorated. The kitchen is furnished the pool and the hot tub is icing on the cake.

This house has everything you need! Clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture, lots of fun playing the games, and the outdoor space is amazing! The host is friendly, responsive, and on top of things. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Incredible Cabin with Amazing Views!

Loved this cabin! It has the most magnificent views!! The cabin is exactly as the pics show on the listing. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. It is in a great location just minutes from Mentone Market and Desoto Falls. My favorite part is the large covered back porch that overlooks the valley. That is where my family and I spent most of our time. We were able to sit and watch a storm out over Fort Payne the first night and the most gorgeous sunset the next night. Breathtaking!!! We did have one issue with the hot tub not being warm when we arrived, but I called the host and it was quickly taken care of. This will be my go-to cabin to rent for my trips to Mentone in the future.

Awesome view and house!

We loved our stay here. I can't imagine a better view anywhere and the sunsets were amazing. Great house and outdoor area. It was also very convenient to restaurants, etc. We had a great time!
