Welcome to Bird’s Eye View & Rock Haven, two eclectic cabins nestled on three wooded acres along Scenic Highway 89 in Mentone, Alabama. Each cabin offers rustic charm, mountain tranquility, and modern comforts—perfect for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind and explore the beauty of Lookout Mountain.

Bird’s Eye View Cabin (2 Beds & 1 Bath)
A cozy, rustic retreat with plenty of charm and tranquility—ideal for couples or small families looking to unwind in nature.

Relax in the inviting living area with wood accents, and a TV for quiet evenings. Large windows bring in natural light and peaceful forest views, making this space the heart of the cabin.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee/tea maker, plus cookware, utensils, and essentials for easy meal prep. Enjoy your morning coffee at the dining table or step onto the deck for a breath of fresh mountain air.

During guest stay, you have access to the entire property, two spacious cabins, fire pits, horse shoes and firewood is supplied.

We are available 24/7 if you need anything during your stay. Please contact us through the booking site in which you booked for one of our team members to respond promptly.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby attractions. There is no public transportation in the area, so having your own vehicle or renting one is recommended.

➤ Early check-in and late checkout may be available but are not guaranteed.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.
➤ This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
• Please note that a $50 Pet fee will be applied per reservation.
• We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than 2 dogs, no larger than 60 pounds. If your pet is heavier than 60 pounds, it will require pre-approval from our team.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
• Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated.

1. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; please be respectful of the neighbors

2. No parties or events allowed

3. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible

4. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed

5. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund

6. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them

7. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)

8. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property

9. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit or through Airbnb resolutions if you booked via Airbnb
