Not a great start, but got better
We think we were the first people of the season in this apartment. The amenities were not checked thoroughly. The a/c didn't work and the fridge hadn't reached its optimal temperature yet. The management company were good at attending to the issue of thr a/c, but it took over a day to resolve. This meant we didn't have a/c the first night and it made sleeping almost impossible. They did bring a fan, but this resulted in my friend ending up with an earache. The a/c was important to us and we passed over other properties that didn't have it. Management told us we could leave the key to the apartment for the contractors, but neither of us felt comfortable with that. As a result, we both spent hours looking for emergency accommodation we could move to in the event the a/c couldn't be fixed. Thr a/c was fixed, but it meant we ended up wasting almost 2 days of our trip. Not great when you're only there 5 nights. In the end, they refunded us 70 for the inconvenience. Just to say, the shower design is truly terrible. It is FAR too easy to have water leave the shower and flood the bathroom or the living area. As others have said, I do wish they had some basics in the kitchen (like oil for cooking). I also wish there was a better welcome pack. We were caught unaware that they only provided two rolls of toilet paper and that we were expected to provide the rest. The location was convenient for us as we rented a car and parking was always available.
