"The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. I felt very safe staying here, even with the back patio leading straight to the public walking path. There were trails leading straight to the beach and you are just a few minutes drive from downtown Fort Bragg. We plan on staying here again for our next visit to the area. 10/10.
I think it's worth mentioning that the cell phone reception in this area is horrible, but they do have fast WiFi."

"By far the greatest travel destination for an anniversary. The view is stunning, the staff are amazing. The jetted tubs and fireplaces in the rooms were perfect. Mid 50 degrees at night and near 70 during the day on Aug 2. Wow.
Get the pizza down the hill, you won’t regret it.

"The view from the rooms is amazing! You look out on the water and see an incredible view of the waives crashing against the cliff and rocks. That is the reason to book. The rooms are nice and large, but dated. We had a fire place which we used even in August. The restaurant also has an amazing view, breakfast was good."
"As all of Mendocino's Inns are old houses, so were the 3 "Inns of Mendocino." We had a cottage suite in the back of the Packard house. It was walkable to restaurants, shops and the Headlands trail. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning in a picnic basket. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't have breakfast the second morning as it comes late between 8:30 & 9 am. A nice charcuterie and wine hour is in the main house but only for an hour and we missed it. Fresh warm cookies are there...
"Agate Cove is truly a hidden gem. The staff were very helpful and friendly at check in. We were given an upgraded ocean view room at no extra cost.
There is an unobstructed view of the ocean with the garden in the foreground which makes for very pleasant scenery. 5/5 stars in our books."
