"Had a lovely time at Cross cottage. It was a lovely quiet location but only 5 min drive to Kirkby Lonsdale for restaurants pubs and shops. Great for all the Yorkshire dales hills and villages. Garden to the cottage was well maintained and relaxing. Good Wi-Fi and free sat too. Shower was super powerful . Always a bonus. Only improvement would be curtains over French doors now the darker nights are coming back for added privacy and cosy feel. Would definitely book again n this cottage and this...

"Stayed in suite 2. Communication prior to stay was good re parking and check in which was as advised. Only slight issue was getting info suite which had very stiff front door. "The property was lovely and very cosy. I took milk and coffee with me but there was already coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and water supplied. Take essentials with you cos it's a single lane along the countryside and, it's a trek to the nearest shop. It has beautiful views through all the windows and there was a beautiful waterfall just a 10 minute walk from the property. The host was very friendly and replies fast. My sister was unwell on the morning of checkout and the host was extremely...

"Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am."
