Warrandyte’s leafy surroundings are home to native birds and wildlife, while local cafés, restaurants, shops and essential services are available around Warrandyte Village and nearby suburbs.



A car is recommended, particularly for guests attending weddings or exploring surrounding farms, wineries, parks and Yarra Valley attractions.



Getting Around:

A private vehicle is essential for your stay at this secluded bushland property. This home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in Warrandyte, surrounded by native trees, and local amenities are only reachable by car. Multiple free off-street parking spaces are available on the property, so you can comfortably park several cars for your group.



Warrandyte Village is a short 10-minute drive away. There you will find an IGA supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, boutique art galleries, the historic Grand Hotel, and the famous Warrandyte Community Market (held on the first Saturday of each month). The Yarra River and Warrandyte State Park walking trails are also just a quick drive from the house, perfect for bushwalking, picnics and river exploration.



Public transport in this area is very limited. Bus routes 364 and 906 service Warrandyte township, but the nearest bus stop is a considerable walk from the property. Services run infrequently, with drastically reduced timetables on weekends and public holidays. There are no train stations within walking distance. We strongly recommend guests do not rely on public transport for daily trips during their stay.



Melbourne CBD is approximately a 35–40 minute drive via the Eastern Freeway. Ringwood’s Eastland Shopping Centre is a 20-minute drive for larger grocery runs, restaurants and cinemas. The Yarra Valley wine region is also within easy driving distance for day trips.



Rideshare services (Uber / DiDi) are available but less reliable here than inner-city Melbourne. Wait times can be longer, especially on evenings, weekends and public holidays.



Other Things to Note:

Fire Safety: The fire alarm system in this property is monitored, and emergency services may be dispatched if the alarm is triggered. A minimum fee of $1200 will be charged for Fire and Emergency Services, and the guest will be responsible for all related fees and charges.



Cleanliness Concerns: If you are not completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the property upon arrival, please inform the host within 6 hours. We will arrange for a cleaner to address your concerns.



Check-Out: The property is professionally cleaned between stays. We kindly request that you return the property in a neat and tidy condition upon check-out. Any damages or excess cleaning required will be charged to the guest.



Guest Accuracy: To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, please ensure that the number of guests is accurately reflected at the time of booking. The number of occupants during your stay must not exceed the number declared, unless prior approval is given.



Lost and Found: We keep lost and found items for up to two weeks. If you need to retrieve an item, please provide your current residential address, and we will arrange for it to be posted to you. Guests are responsible for all postage fees.



Property Guidelines: This property is strictly for holiday accommodation only. Parties, events, gatherings, and functions are not permitted at any time. Guests are required to respect the neighbourhood at all times, including maintaining quiet hours and being mindful of neighbours. All guests staying at the property must be declared in the booking.



Stair Access Notice: As this is a two-storey home, stairs are used regularly for daily access between levels. Guests are kindly asked to consider this when booking, especially when travelling with young children or elderly guests.
