There were a few things that didn’t go well. To start with the hotel app messaging staff didn’t show any compassion to offer us a free cancellation on compassionate grounds. So we were forced to go ahead with our travel plans.
When we arrived the reception staff was average.
We got to our room and the room looked nice at the start but then we started noticing things like the fridge was dented all over, the aircon remotes didn’t seem to work initially but we eventually figured it out. The safe was in a lock position and not working. The staff tried to fix it but couldn’t and didn’t bother to the next day too.
The hotel said toothbrush and toothpatse available upon request but when we requested for it then said they don’t do it. I have to show them their add to validate it and then they arranged for it from Aldi.
There were marks on the walls and curtains and cobwebs on the ceiling too.
The sofas looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or washed in ages and we started developing itchy rashes to the extent of minor bleeding.
The room service was very slack too and didn’t bother cleaning the corners. One day we asked the staff to come after 3 pm to do the rooms but they didn’t bother to. The next day was Saturday and they said they don’t have the time to clean it. They just dumped extra towels on the dirty sofa and didn’t bother taking the old ones awayuntil we requested them to. They then obliged to do the bedsheets at least & we didn’t bother getting them changed as we left.
