6/10 - Ok

This property might be okay, if you have complete flexibility for your stay. For example, there is no front desk (known when booking), you have to coordinate a time via phone to check in. You cannot leave your bags in the property before or after check-in and there is no parking (again - known at time of booking).
The property is very dated, the carpets have large lumps throughout the living and bed rooms and are a bit of a trip hazard. There is extension cords and power boards running across the floor in the living room and a power board next to the bed.
The heating/cooling system could be the loudest I've ever experienced and there was a reed diffuser which makes an overpowering smell for a small apartment. The TV in the living room did not work (it turns on and has a blurred picture) and the batteries in 2 of the 3 remotes were flat.
Positives are that the apartment is a good size and has all of the facilities that you would want in it. It is very close to the Queen Vic Market and easy walking distance the central Melbourne.
