THE PLACE
This classic Victorian facade is the understated heritage exterior to an exceptional, modern light-filled home offering contemporary luxury lifestyle. This single-fronted home has three large bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen) and a useful separate study/studio with a single bed plus a first floor living space with a sofa bed that offers extra accommodation. Additional bedding is available on request. The home can sleep up to eight guests.
The house has everything needed for luxurious inner city living plus the convenience of being close to Victoria Avenue and Albert Park Village with its many shops, cafes and restaurants, the South Melbourne beach and convenient trams.
The two ground floor queen bedrooms are complete with built-in robes. One bedroom has a sunny street outlook and the other looks out on an internal light court. The ground floor bedrooms are served with a stylish central bathroom with spa bath.
The home's original Victorian front bedrooms connect with the rear modern extension. The interior’s dark oak floors create a striking contrast against the crisp white interior which is complemented by the warmth of the traditional period elements of the arched hallway, cornice, Victorian fireplaces and original artwork.
The modern rear extension has a chef’s kitchen with custom-designed stone-bench, a suite of quality European appliances, an integrated dishwasher and well-stocked pantry. The kitchen area features a stone bench, perfect for preparing a meal, abundant storage and an adjacent Butler’s Pantry with a Nespresso coffee machine and laundry.
The modern rear lounge with Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system is enhanced by high ceilings and a bank of French doors that opens to an outdoor al fresco entertaining zone with an outdoor kitchen with 4 burner gas hot plates and a table setting. The hot and cold outdoor shower is perfect for use after a visit to the nearby beach.
Upstairs the lavish Master Bedroom with King bed is complete with a retreat /second living space, contemporary hotel-style ensuite, built-in robes, dressing table, study nook and a sunny private balcony with cityscape views.
Accessible from the Master Bedroom and also by the spiral staircase from the courtyard is a separate home office/studio with a single bed for useful additional accommodation.
The home features ducted heating, split system air-conditioning throughout and fast wi-fi.
Barrett Lane at the rear of the property provides remote garage door access for off street parking for one vehicle.

NO PARTIES Parties are strictly not permitted at the property at any time under any circumstances.
NOISE Guests are required to be respectful of neighbours. Noise must be kept to a minimum and no amplified music after 10pm. The property shares a common wall with neighbours .Please be mindful of neighbours and keep the noise down when outside at night and when it gets late, move inside and shut the door.
SMOKING The house is smoke free. Guests may smoke outside on the rooftop deck.
PETS Well behaved pets are welcome. Guests must keep their pets quiet and under control at all times. Pets must be kept off the furniture and beds. Guests are responsible for their pets, their waste and any damage caused.
BARBEQUE An electric barbeque is provided on the rooftop terrace for guests use and enjoyment. Guests are required to clean the barbeque after use. A fee of $200 will be charged if the barbeque is not left in a clean condition on departure.
KEYS AND GARAGE REMOTE CONTROL Make sure to return the garage remote control to the the the coffee table in the lounge on departure. A fee of $200 will be charged if the remote control are not returned.
