Beautiful home
This home is absolutely beautiful and the location is so nice and close to everything. We ended up with a medical emergency and had to leave early but we will definitely book this home again!

Great location and excellent place to stay!
We were very happy with our stay. Family of 6 and there was plenty of room for us. Very clean, excellent communication with the property manager and so close to everything in Medora. We loved that we were so close to the park entrance and that there were plenty of other things to do so close by! We really liked that there was also an area outside for grilling and sitting outside. It was great having the extra space when we were not out exploring and enjoying family time. Lots of great info provided to help with planning our day trips too.

Disappointed
The Badlands Suite looked just like it did in the photos and was very clean. We had a problem with Directv and the property manager came over right away and fixed it, which was very nice. However, we were very surprised when we arrived at the property and it was in the basement, i.e., a basement apartment-not a walk-out basement, but a typical, dark basement. There is no mention of it being a basement apartment in the listing on VRBO. If we knew it was a basement property, we wouldn't have booked it. In addition, there is no mention in the listing on VRBO that you have to put your towels in the washing machine before you leave and text the property manager the day before you leave to let them know what time you're leaving. Sometimes, we don't know on the day before the exact time that we're leaving, so we just gave them the checkout time. We wouldn't have rented the property if we had known about these additional requirements. As mentioned previously, the property was very clean and the property manager was extremely helpful, but the listing on VRBO should reflect that the rental is a basement apartment and list out the requirements for guests renting the unit.

To ensure efficiency, we have requested that the listing be changed to accurately advertise that the home is a "garden view" suite. - As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like starting a load of towels and texting us their planned time of departure, as part of checkout. This allows for a smooth check-out transition and most guests usually enjoy reaching out to us to lets us know how things went. We truly do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Comfortable!
As represented on line. With just a two night stay we hadn't planned to make use of the kitchen except for the refrigerator and counter tops but it was well "outfitted" for those who do. Did enjoy the spaciousness of the living room with seating options and coffee and end tables. Comfortable bedrooms. The multiple hooks in the bathroom are very useful. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Medora!

Medora Vacation
This unit was clean and cozy. We are older and have special diets so we cooked our meals and we were impressed with the well equipped kitchen and the nice grill area. Plenty of space for two couples.

North Dakota prairie condo
The interior of the property was exactly as pictured. We expected a porch/deck, but were in a "garden" apartment, so no luck there. We did have a small outdoor seating area, and a nice grill for our use. Location was nicely central, but not scenic.

We area family of 6 and we love Medora ND. Staying at this place only made our stay better! Plenty of room, very clean and stocked with all you would need for your stay. Close to everything we love about Medora.

Teddy Roosevelt National Park Visit
I would highly recommend staying in this lovely property. We found everything we were looking for with a warm home feel. If you are looking g to visit Teddy Roosevelt National Park or to shop in the old time Town of Medora this is a must stay. The staff was friendly and attentive to our every need!

Great and convenient!
Amazing little place. Definitely walking distance to town if needed. Ample parking. Full kitchen and multiple grills to use along with washer and dryer! The owner was just a quick text/call away if needed. One possible downside during summer in ND…. No black out curtains so plan on having kids stay up late and rise early!

We rented two different “duplexes” in the complex as we had a wedding. One was for the men other for the ladies. They were both in excellent condition and were very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone else!

Peaceful Getaway
The property was clean, convenient, and relaxing for our large family of 8. We were able to walk to many of the places in town and had a great peaceful getaway. The town is adorable and the property felt like home after adventuring all day. The owner was easy to contact and made sure things were in order for when we arrived.

Worked well for basecamp
We were in town to bike Maah Daah Hey trail. This lower level apartment worked well for returning to after riding all day. Beds were comfy. Place was pretty clean. Wifi could better. Overall, satisfied but could use some upgrades and there was an odor there when we arrived which seemed to mostly go away when we opened windows. Property manager was friendly and attentive. Maah Daah Hey trail and Dakota Cyclery were awesome.

Medora Family Chill Spot
Good location& space. Prefect for having a big breakfast in the morning & starting our daily adventures from. At night we enjoyed the large living space to debrief & relax together.

Good for Family & Clean
The pictures of the property are accurate. The property is a little dated and it's a basement apartment so there was a little noise from the upstairs apartment in one of the bedrooms. Our communication with manager was excellent and she was very helpful! We didn't take advantage of the grill or outdoor space, but it looked nice. Really close to all of the town activities, too.

Some will like this place, others not so much.
Our first impression of this condo is that you walk in and it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. My wife noticed it first because she walked in first and it caught me when I came in. Problem is, I'm allergic to smoke so I spent the 3 days with watery eyes and a headache. Overall the place could have been a 4 star. It was roomy. The furniture looks good in the picture but it is old and uncomfortable. I"m guessing it was all purchased at a 2nd hand store. Beds were cheap mattresses and they were uncomfortable. Had a regular shower head and a hand held. The regular shower head didn't work but we used the hand held. The room was clean except for the smell and the smokeyness. I know it's hard when you rent a space like this and someone smokes in it. It can cost over $1000 to get it cleaned professionally by Service Master or someone like that .But as much as was charged for this condo, I'd think they should spend the money to do that and buy better furniture. Wifi was a poor signal - as if it were in another building altogether. Fortunately in Medora, you get a surprisingly good phone signal and we had wifi on our phones we could tether to our computer. That was a much faster signal for me than the wifi in the house. If you can't tether your phone, don't count on good wifi. The dishes were OK. No dishwasher. Fridge size was nice. Oven and stove was good. Two toasters, coffeepot, and pizza oven all good. Nice bathroom fan. Nice kitchen table. Plenty of supplies.. Town was .3 miles to .6 miles from the condo (depending on where in town you were going) which we walked several times. You can drive too. Nice parking at the condo. Quiet area away from downtown. Nice morning walks. I'm usually not so negative about these places, but when you pay so much, you have higher expectations. Somehow, for the price, I didn't expect a smokey atmosphere, slow wifi, and old furniture.
