"We ended up The Glengower because of an error with our original booking. It ended up being a much better option: the staff was lovely, the bar and restaurant was great, and the rooms were nice and comfortable for what we needed. And right by the water and shops around the corner. We would definitely stay here again."

"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. "Limited lift capacity. some rooms only reached by a combination of lift and stairs. Dated decor. Reception and restaurant staff very pleasant. Good central location."

"Excellent Hotel and the Food was Amazing .Staff were fabulous .Breakfast was good as well. However we had a young girl at breakfast who didn’t look up to greet us.we had to ask where we were seated. She never returned to see if we needed more coffee! More training needed. Not a front person. The young girls we had for check in and our evening were Amazing . "

"We stayed just one night but found the location just perfect being just a few minutes walk to the seafront and the town with plenty of parking and views out over the sea. The hotel was dog friendly we had a very comfortable large room and a lovely breakfast with great service. I can’t recommend this hotel more…. it was perfect!"
