"Y Platinum hotel is a total gem! It's located about 10mns ride from Musjid al Nabiyou, uber rides are about $5 to the Musjid. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. They fill up the fridge with free drinks. The staff is very professional and courteous. Breakfast was included and very good. The price is affordable. "

"Overall our stay at Rotana was excellent. Good sized spacious clean room and bathroom for a family of 4. Housekeeping and staff were friendly and approachable. My only negative was that it is a bit of distance for ladies area in the haram. As ladies sections are top right and top left when facing the haram.
