The Space

Casa Uribe is not a rental — it is a residence with five decades of history, fully available to you. Built in 1972 on one of El Poblado`s most established streets, the house was meticulously restored to preserve its original architectural bones: arched doorways, handcrafted details, and organic materials that age into their surroundings rather than against them. Every wall holds a commissioned work by a Colombian artist. Every space opens onto garden, water, or sky.

Bedrooms

The Master Suite is the largest of the four, built around a King bed with a full private sitting room, walk-in closet, and complete bathroom. Its private terrace opens to an outdoor dining area, a jacuzzi, and an exterior shower — a world unto itself.

Bedroom 1 mirrors the same standard with a King bed, an additional twin sofa bed, and a private terrace with outdoor shower and a traditional Japanese ofuro soaking tub for two — a rare amenity designed for complete decompression.

Bedroom 2 offers a Queen bed, sofa bed, walk-in closet, and full bathroom — generous in proportion, calm in tone.

Bedroom 3 features a Queen bed with a private balcony and full bathroom — the most intimate of the four, ideal as a personal retreat within the larger group.

All four bedrooms are air-conditioned and include a flat-screen TV and daily-stocked minibar.

Social Spaces

Casa Uribe was designed for gathering. Two distinct living rooms offer different registers — one for quiet conversation, one for longer evenings — both surrounded by Colombian artwork and natural materials that absorb light differently at every hour. The formal dining room seats the entire group at once, positioned at the center of the house where indoor and outdoor life converge. A private lounge with a built-in wine cellar and bar is the natural endpoint of any evening — curated bottles, low light, no need to go anywhere.

Two Kitchens

The main indoor kitchen is a chef-grade workspace: professional appliances, ample prep surfaces, and a layout designed for serious cooking — not incidental use. It connects directly to the dining room and the outdoor living areas.

The outdoor kitchen takes the experience further: a full grill station and a wood-fired pizza oven set within the garden, surrounded by shade and greenery. It is the kind of kitchen that turns a dinner into an event. Both spaces are fully equipped for a private chef or for a group that simply enjoys cooking together.

Pool, Wellness & Gardens

The outdoor heart of Casa Uribe is its expansive pool terrace — a generous swimming pool with an integrated jacuzzi, framed by the property`s mature tropical gardens. The space is large enough to feel private even for a full group of nine, with lounge areas and shade throughout.

Adjacent to the pool sits the sauna, designed for extended use — not a hotel afterthought but a proper wellness space with the capacity and heat retention to be part of a daily ritual.

A small private lake completes the grounds — still, surrounded by vegetation, and entirely removed from the city`s noise. It is one of the few genuinely unexpected spaces in the property: the kind you only discover once you are already inside.

The organic garden runs along the back of the property. It supplies fresh herbs and produce to the kitchen and serves as the setting for cooking classes, coffee tastings, and private culinary experiences available on request.

Guest Access

Casa Uribe is located in the heart of El Poblado, minutes from the neighborhood`s restaurants, galleries, and social life — yet set far enough from the main streets that the property maintains complete privacy and quiet. The house is accessed through a private gate, and your arrival is handled from the moment you land.

An airport transfer is available with extra cost. Your driver will be waiting at José María Córdova International Airport and will take you directly to the property — no coordination required. For guests arriving from the city or moving between neighborhoods, private transportation is available on request throughout the duration of the stay.

Once through the gate, the house is entirely yours. There are no shared spaces, no other guests, and no staff presence you haven`t requested. The property operates on an exclusive-use basis.

On-Site Concierge

A dedicated concierge is available at Casa Uribe throughout your stay. This is not a remote line or a messaging service — it is a person on the property, familiar with the house and the city, available to manage what you need as you need it.

The concierge handles reservations at Medellín`s best restaurants, coordinates private chefs, arranges in-house massages, organizes day excursions and cultural experiences, and takes care of the logistical details that would otherwise take up the hours you came here to spend differently. Whether it is a last-minute dinner for the group, a driver for the afternoon, or a private coffee tasting in the garden at dusk — the request goes to one person who knows how to make it happen.

Casa Uribe is designed to require nothing of you. The concierge is how that promise is kept.
PROPERTY RULES:

1) Every guest and visitor must be registered and show a valid passport or ID at the entrance of the house. We have a host available 24/7 for security and service.
2) ANYONE UNDER 18 MUST BE WITH THEIR PARENTS OR BRING NOTARIZED PERMISSION.
3) No sound systems or DJs are allowed.
4) Any damage caused to the house or its belongings must be reported and will be charged.
5) In case of fire, evacuate the house.
6) Smoking any substance, including cigarettes and tobacco, is strictly prohibited inside the house. There is a $50.00 USD charge if smoking is detected indoors.
7) Do not leave any items or objects with the house staff.
8) Pets are allowed but must be taken care of.
9) SEX AND DRUG TRAFFICKING IS A CRIME. ANY DRUG ABUSE, CHILD TRAFFICKING, OR HUMAN TRAFFICKING WILL BE REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES. ACCORDING TO LAW 679 OF 2001, THE ENTRY OF MINORS TO ANY TOURIST ESTABLISHMENT FOR PROSTITUTION OR SEXUAL ABUSE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
10) Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
11) Each time you leave the apartment, turn off the air conditioning, lights, and close the windows and the front door.
12) Be careful when using the pool; no diving, and avoid consuming food or alcohol.
13) To conserve the environment, please be responsible with water and electricity consumption.
14) The house security is not responsible for losses inside the house. For your safety, there are surveillance cameras controlled by a private security company.
15) Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

*Please keep noise to a minimum, especially on weekdays and late at night. There is a $150 USD fine for excessive noise.
