"Very cozy, quiet and conveniently located. Close to a variety of activities in neighboring towns. We checked in on Thanksgiving Day and made a short drive to visit family. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable! Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. The hosts even provided fresh eggs from their chickens for our breakfast. "

"This was a wonderful little place to stay at if you want peace and quiet. It is in the middle of the country so do not expect to run down to the store. We loved the lay out and really just enjoyed the serenity of the location. If you are going to stay here remember (This is not talking bad about the place)1. Bring all groceries you need. "Overall we were disappointed with our stay. The Cabin was extremely small and not suitable for the amount of people allowed to stay. The couch downstairs is a futon and not a Queen pull out as advertised. The shower was extremely unclean as well. "

"Booked John’s cabin for a weekend getaway and it surpassed my expectations. The decor of the cabin was awesome. Had everything we needed from making coffee in the morning to grilling out on the large deck. The bed was super comfy too. Sitting by the fire was so enjoyable and very secluded from the other neighbors. We kayaked and fished and it’s very easy to put in on the beach. When I needed to contact John he was responsive in a timely manner! Would definitely recommend and plan on coming...

"Thank you so much for having us. We stayed here to attend the Alive Music Festival at Atwood Lake. The kids loved the loft and the cabin was well stocked with all the amenities. Be cautious if you need to work remotely from here. Luckily my husband only had a few reports to run. The internet exists but the speed and bandwidth are minimal.
