The Cove - 245B - Cottage

Guests enjoy being steps away from White Lake. It is a shallow bay (4-6ft) in this area. Head through the narrows for deeper water. This rustic cottage has all your basic needs to enjoy a comfortable stay. Guests comment on beautiful sunsets and sun rises if they are early birds. Try Kayaking, canoeing. Kids love the freedom of exploring in the pedal boats. We have had nice catches right off the dock cat fish, small mouth bass and kids squeal when they catch sun fish and baby perch . There is a boat launch, museum and gardens (The Waba Museum) approximately 500 ft. from our property which is great for a nice scenic stroll. The Ottawa Valley has something for everyone: restaurants, corner store/LCBO with gas bar, a park, public beaches and a church all within 5 minutes of the property. Visit the White Lake Park in the summer for some baseball or fun on the play structure; in the Winter for an outdoor skate or some hockey. For your skiing enjoyment, Mount Pakenham and Calabogie Peaks are approximately 23 minutes away. There is a private beach, play structure, fishing, pedal boat, canoe, 2 kayaks and dock located on our property for your enjoyment. These items are shared between our cottages. Our cottage rentals are on the north end of White Lake and are conveniently located approximately 45 minutes west of Kanata / Ottawa. We are also situated between the towns of Renfrew and Arnprior. Both towns are 15 minutes in either direction if you require shopping at large box stores.
