"Clean and comfy room. No hotel breakfast but food options in hotel to purchase and lots of nearby coffee shops. Ample parking and safe area."

"South Carolina - very nice room, well maintained and clean with a 3rd floor view of the Main Street. Note that all rooms require steps to 2nd & 3rd floor. Good location, close to everything. Owners need to review definition of “B&B”. We have never stayed at a B&B before that charged extra for breakfast. We arrived at 5pm, left at 10 am; never met any employee or owner. Strange!"

"The rooms at the front of the property were near the highway. The street noise made it difficult to sleep or even relax. I was booked for 2 nights and when I asked to check out after one night, the manager quickly changed my room so it was quieter. He was concerned that I wouod not find alternative accomadations over the holiday weekend and at the last minute."

"Spent one night. This hotel was convenient to some plans we had the next day. The price was right too. WE were not looking for luxury. The room was nice and clean. Staff helpful. The free breakfast was the usual motel/hotel fare. Not a deal breaker, but the elevator had a weird number system.....Read the sign in the elevator.....our room was 300 something, but you had to push #2 floor and we were on the 2nd floor. The rooms on the 1st floor were numbered in the 200's. There was a lower level...

"The property and room were very clean. They gave complimentary water - Breakfast had alot to choose from and parking was plentiful."

"The entire hotel has an overwhelming smell of curry everywhere in it. The pool is NOT heated and was freezing cold. The water did not smell of chemicals, however the water had a funky smell. The first room I was in, I had to be moved- there was what appeared to be dried blood on the comforter and hair in the bed. I complained to the front desk and was put in a different room. I was told the new room was a very good room- it was not! The new room was smaller than the original room. The bathroom...

"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"The location is great. We were able to walk downtown for dinner and some shopping. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our dog to Gettysburg with us. The hotel was very pet friendly. Breakfast was great. The air conditioner in our room was noisy but other than that, we have no complaints. We will definitely stay there again."

"Staff is friendly and willing to offer recommendations of nearby places to visit. Establishment was clean and well maintained. They have a beautiful display of live plants throughout the lobby providing a lovely welcoming feeling. I appreciated their large display of menus of nearby restaurants. If I visit Gettysburg again I will be using this location again."

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"It is an older property, but was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great; convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions."
