"Cute little place with awesome views of the lake!!! All the amenities needed, very nicely decorated, and comfy beds! Personal parking spot a great plus! Some maintenance required though and a funny smell that was not pleasant to come back to. We had to buy a candle to drown out the smell and one family member with autoimmune health struggles had difficultly with this."

"The lake views were beautiful and so nice that it was pet friendly. It was very clean and the decor was top notch. The little extras from the owners were a lovely touch. If you bring pets, be aware there is only a spiral staircase to the lower level and the green space is steeply graded. My pet could not navigate the stairs inside so we had to use the outside stairs which do not have lights for nighttime."

"What a lovely experience! Host was helpful and responsive. House is large and well appointed, perfect for our group of families. Kids had a few spots to play and have a safe “sleepover” experience. "This house has everything you need for a great getaway! It was clean, very well-appointed, and had lots of space to spread out. The beds were comfy, the coffee bar was well stocked, and there was even a station set up with waffle mix, makers, and fixins'. "The listing and photos are exactly what you get in this fun and different property. The location was perfect for walking to various restaurants and other sites. We were even just a few minutes' walk to the lake path entrance for a nice hike partway around the lake. Our suite was cozy with an actual full bar (minus the liquor) in the room. "The proximity to Great Lakes Recruitment Center, Sarge’s Meet & Greet, restaurants, etc. is perfect. We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer. It was great to be able to relax, watch movies, just hang out with our sailor for the precious two days we had. "We go once or twice a year and enjoy the pool and scenery. The restaurant is good and the accommodations are nice. The furnishings seemed newer and everything worked in the room. I recommend the second floor (the first floor is more of a basement and has noise problems). This hotel always seems under-staffed. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone."
