Built in 2024, the Toccoa Overlook is a private second-floor apartment located above our detached garage on our riverfront property. Designed for couples or solo travelers, this cozy retreat offers the perfect balance of relaxation, convenience, and North Georgia mountain charm.

Enjoy river views from the property, direct access to the Toccoa River through our shared fenced backyard, and a peaceful place to unwind after exploring McCaysville, Copperhill, Blue Ridge, the Ocoee River, and the surrounding mountain area.

The space is an approximately 550-square-foot apartment that includes:

- One bedroom with a king bed
- Walk-in closet

The apartment is best suited for one or two guests looking for a quiet, comfortable stay.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the Toccoa River from our shared fenced backyard. Relax in the riverside chairs, watch for deer and birds, enjoy your morning coffee by the water, or fish directly from the property.

The apartment itself is fully private, but the backyard and riverfront area are shared with our primary residence.

Guests planning to fish should make sure they have the appropriate Georgia fishing license and trout stamp if required.

The Toccoa Overlook is located just 3/4 mile from downtown McCaysville, Georgia, and neighboring Copperhill, Tennessee. Guests can walk to town if they are comfortable with a short walk, but most guests will want a car for exploring the wider area.

Our riverfront neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Guests often see deer, birds, and other local wildlife from the property. Please enjoy watching wildlife from a respectful distance and do not feed animals.

Important Things to Know:
- The apartment is located on the second floor and requires climbing one exterior flight of stairs. - There is no elevator.
- Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.
- No parties, events, or gatherings.
- The property is protected by a Generac generator during power outages.
- We have two dogs on the property that guests may occasionally see in the shared yard.
- The apartment is private, but the riverfront backyard is shared with our primary residence.
- Guests must follow all house rules, checkout instructions, and safety notices provided before or during the stay.
