"Hotel was clean and not unmaintained. It feels a little sketchy when you see the shut down boarded up hotel across the way. Not very convenient for finding food. But, it was just a one night stop for us and it served its purpose."

"What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful."
