Mountain Lake Retreat w/ Concrete Walkway w/ Kayaks

Listing Description:
Beautiful home located in a quiet country setting on pristine Norris Lake in the Dodson Creek Cove! This property has a great floor plan, outdoor living and the perfect location on Norris Lake. Conveniently located 10 minutes to Maynardville, TN and only 30 minutes to downtown Knoxville. We are neighbors with Beach Island Marina & Bubba Brews! The home comes with a private dock & a jetski port for all your boating needs. There is a gradual grade to get down to the water with a complete concrete walkway. No more than 3 cars allowed due to limited parking.

The Space:
-We have several pontoon rentals available upon request. You must have a valid boaters license or be born before 1989 to operate.We deliver them to the house as well!
Rates are as follows:
90 HP - $275 per day plus taxes & $50 insurance
115 HP - $300 per day plus taxes & $50 insurance
115 HP - 16 passenger pontoon - $325 per day plus taxes & $50 insurance

-There are also kayaks included with the rental close to the dock. Please note that we do not provide life jackets. Please be sure to return to the kayak rack at the property once finished!

-The home is located at the end of Dodson Creek Cove right past Bubba Brews & Beach Island Marina on Jesse Rd!

-The home is equipped with a kitchen equipped with a standard coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave & kitchen table! The home also includes a hot tub, weber gas grill with propane on site that we provide, Fiber WIFI, & TV’s throughout the entire house w/ Cable as well as a double deck with their own patio area!

-There is a private dock with a swim ladder & jetski port! Please note our pontoon rental stays on the outside of the dock.

-It is not allowed to leave your trailer at the property & is highly recommended to launch prior to going to the property. The road is short but is a single lane and is tight & peaks & valleys in spots which would make turning around with a trailer difficult. We however do provide several options. There’s an additional property we own 2 minutes away that the trailer can be dropped in the field beside the house or we have a gated warehouse less than 10 minutes away that it can be left at for the duration of your stay. Just please be sure to let us know which option you prefer as it gets closer. You can put in at Beach Island Marina (5 mins away)!

-Please note, this part of the lake has year round water. Just please be advised that lake levels are lowered by the TVA in the Fall and raised again in the Spring & can fluctuate in off season months.


Guest Access:
The entire house is available & no more than 3 cars allowed at the property & 1 boat per house.

Other Things to Note:
-Check in is at 5 & Check out is at 10 & you must be 25 to rent
-House includes All Linens, bath towels, pots, pans, utensils, baking sheets, etc.
-A STARTER supply of dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bathroom, & trash bags (indoor & outdoor)
-Recommended items to bring: Extra trash bags, paper products, soaps, detergents, toilet paper, beach towels for hot tubs or lake, & all personal soaps, shampoo, & conditioners.
-3 Car MAX limit as this property shares a steep driveway with our other property there.
-No smoking or parties allowed anywhere on the property.
-We provide all firewood & propane tanks.
-There are outdoor security cameras for protection since this is a year round rental.
-Check in and out times are firm unless approved in advance.
-Nearest grocery store is Food City which is 10 minutes away.
-No pets are allowed at our properties
-WIFI is KUB Fiber
-Please note that there is one slip available for guest use. We keep our pontoon rental in the other slip as stated above.
-There is another property beside this one if you need larger groups. The other House sleeps 12.
-Please note that our pontoon rental may be on the outside of the dock.

To Steep For Me.
First let me say other than a few minor broken items, the home is very nice. The home is located on a one lane road on the side of a mountain. The driveway is unbelievably steep and the walk down to the dock even steeper. By afternoon no one wanted to go down to the dock because of the walk back up or walk up that driveway to get in a car. You share the driveway with home next door and it can be a little crowded. Nice home, just too steep for us.

Amazing!
The property is even better than listed. Extremely clean - both inside and out! The location is perfect with a nice walk down to the water. Although it is steep, it is fairly easy for most properties in the area. Owners and managers were responsive and helpful. One of the best I ever rented!

Wonderful!
Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of sheets & towels. The walk to the dock was a breeze due to a full sidewalk & short distance. Instructions for who to contact IF we needed anything were crystal clear as were the instructions for how to leave the house upon dismissal. Our cove was lovely & the kids played in the water everyday & fed fish every morning. Highly recommend!

Great place and location
We brought our own boat last week in June. The cul de sac cove is quiet and great to swim in. Take the boat for 5 min and you’re out in the main channel. This side of the lake is not busy but still close to Bubba Brews. We had smooth water all week. House is well appointed for 9 people with included bedding. 2 bathrooms is enough. Kitchen was great. Hot tub works. Enjoyed the fireplace. Dock was great. Driveway is steep but didn’t bother us. Walk from house to dock has a newly paved concrete sidewalk. It wouldn’t be easy for elderly or those with bad knees. Our group was aged 13-45 and didn’t stop us from having fun for a week.

Perfect house in cove
We got extremely lucky finding this house, it was the last house on the lake that would fit out group of 8. Four adults and four kids ranging in age 12-15. First, the location, super easy to find by boat because it’s the first cove past Bubba Brews. Also, the cove was great because it’s in a no wake zone so you can paddleboard and kayak as well as swim off the dock without worrying about big wakes. The kids would swim off the dock in the evening, no worries because there are lights. We rented a pontoon from the owner, it was at the dock and in great shape, just as they stated and it was super convenient. Fire pit area is well stocked with wood (thank you!) House was great and I was pleasantly surprised at all of the kitchen items available, crock pot, blender and plenty of plates, glasses, flatware. The one word of caution because we looked at the exterior pictures and didn’t heed the warning. The walk from the house to the dock is extremely steep and dangerous, especially if it’s raining or in the morning and late evening when iits damp out. My father came ans he is over 70, I was very concerned about a fall. It was difficult to get heavy or awkward items to and from the dock due to the severe incline. Other than the incline, everything was fantastic!!!
