"The Hampton Inn at Maui was the worst hotel I stayed in all Hawaii. Apart being a very basic hotel, charging a resort fee for almost nothing, with a less than poor breakfast, 300 dollars simply “disappeared” from my safe box in my room! The manager don’t even contacted me about!! Finally, at a more than confusing checkout, they said made 12 (twelve!!) charge entries on my credit card until finally reaching the right number (which was much more than what was said when I checked in!). Terrible...

"The room was musty smelling. Had several roaches in my bathroom…and when I say ‘several’ I’m talking more than 4! The air conditioning in the room was insufficient! I ended up opening up the windows so at least there was a breeze and it also helped with the musty smell! The staff was very apologetic but still an expensive stay to be so disappointing! Glad this won’t be my only experience of Maui as I could have stayed on the Jersey Shore for this!!!"

"The hotel is absolutely crowded. Too many people to be served, a few employees to serve. Particularly at the Ulu Restaurant are the breakfast. The luau does not worth the value and concierge was not able to deal with our needs. We spent 1.2k dollars Ina helicopter tour to see volcano and road to Hanna and we didn’t see it. That part of the island is very windy. Maybe a good option is to stay in Wailea. Less windy, more upscaled."

"Just spent a week here. Overall had a great stay. The resort is dated but less expensive than many other options. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. Big bathroom with great shower and tub. The doors in the suite had slats in them so light and sound went through them which wasn't our favorite. Parking spaces are very small and narrow and sometimes hard to find (usuall at night). While they do offer free use of washers and dryers, there are only one of each for an entire floor! I had to...

"We love our stay here. Location is the best. Walk to Kapalua Trail every morning. The beach is beautiful. The property is nice, kitchen are equipped with what you needed for everyday cooking. The property is clean, easy online check in process. The garden and the pool are also beautiful."
