A short peaceful drive less than 45 minutes from Louisville Kentucky you will find our Cabins provide a nice getaway from the hustle and the bustle of the city life. If you just want a place to go and rest or you want a day filled with local attractions you can have either one here. Harrison County Indiana has a lot to offer for the outdoor enthusiast. Multiple Caves, Zip lines, Parks, Rivers and hiking trails are located a short drive from our location. Some of the best local food joints you can find are located a short drive across the Ohio River in Brandenburg Kentucky.
The Cabin has a full kitchen, a full bathroom and full bedding on each bed. Towels and Toiletries are provided as well. Each Cabin has a set of corn hole boards, a fire pit, picnic table and a charcoal grill. We pride ourselves in providing an enjoyable, quiet and relaxing vacation here at High Ridge Cabins.

Scenic Cabin

The cabin is in a very pretty and tranquil setting. The beds are comfortable. Phone service was sketchy. I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this was the first that was what I think of as "bare-boned". Don't expect any amenities that aren't listed such as guest soap and shampoo or even salt and pepper. In other words, there wasn't any special effort to make us feel welcome. Also, the place could use a good cleaning. The owners were very timely at sending check in information without having to request it and I appreciated that very much.

Relaxing

Cabin was a treat, good space between the 3 cabins, quiet and pleasant, park style grill and a rack for cooking over the fire pit, the neighbors in cabin 1 were quiet and we enjoyed the area, we are definitely planning on staying here again,

Beware if you suffer from Ophidiophobia!!!

Iā€™ll start by saying this property is charming if you love the great outdoors. Iā€™d planned a last minute trip to visit family that lives nearby and the PGA was in town, so this was the only place I could find to stay. The reviews were good and Iā€™ve been to the Great Smoky Mountains so I thought the cabin would be like that, right? Wrong!!! Itā€™s much more primitive than anything Iā€™ve ever seen but the kicker was when we found a 10 foot snake skin over the back door just as it was getting dark on our first night there. Needless to say, I slept in my car for my stay:))

Amazing stay!

This cabin was exactly what we needed. We came to the area for archery championships, but wanted something to get away and detach from the world. This cabin doesnā€™t have the best reception but other than that was amazing! The kitchen is small, but was perfect cause that means I didnā€™t have to be in the kitchen helping! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway! This is the place! 5 stars, would recommend!

Beautiful area

The place was nasty. Cobwebs everywhere, ceiling fan was caked in dust. The floors were dirty and then they charge you a cleaning fee and want you to clean everything. Will never be back

Family reunion stay

The cabin was in a great location for a Kentucky family reunion. The cabin was clean and we felt very safeā€¦We saw deer and wild turkeys from the cabin. We would definitely stay again!

Girlsā€™ Trip

Had an amazing time at this cabin! Very near all of the caves me and my friend wanted to explore. It was amazing to get away from the noise of traffic and just enjoy nature!

Lighting.

It needs brighter lighting, especially in the master bedroom and over the kitchen table. The drain plug in the kitchen sink needs replaced if you want us to wash all used dishes. The stop kept coming apart. Other than that the stay was good. I had requested cabin one a while back and by the time you got back to is, our stay was over. Kind of pointless.

ROTC family stay

We enjoyed our stay here when we came for my son's Advanced Cadet Training graduation at Ft. Knox. It was worth a little drive to have this little oasis in the woods! It was too hot to enjoy the firepit or eating outside, but we were relieved that the AC works great!

We loved this cabin! It was so cute and well maintained. The location was really nice for a weekend getaway. You couldnā€™t be closer to squire Boone caverns, Indiana caverns was only about 15 minutes away also, we did both. Corydon IN and Brandenburg KY are both 15-20 minutes away and offer some good dining options outside of the cabin. The property was really nice, the fire pit was great, the two other cabins that are part of high ridge are far enough away to have plenty of privacy. Nothing to complain about from us we would definitely stay again!
