"Could not fault the staff very helpful , breakfast with very good . I appreciate the building is old but I do think the decor needs a bit of an upgrade. Parking was good but bit of a steep hill to get there. It was a bit noisy in the evenings but it goes quiet at around 10 . Considering the manager and staff has only been there a few weeks they are doing an amazing job."

"Clean tidy room with large bathroom in a pleasant quiet village, lovely friendly hosts. Good breakfast in the Tea room below. In easy reach of the attractions that the Dales is known for."

"Good location, good price. Looks lovely from outside. However, inside, carpets needs cleaning as our feet were sticking to it. Kids room light was flickering, twice approached different members of staff but nothing was done. Not enough mugs in the room (only 2 in a family room)."

"We love visiting this unique hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The lido is spectacular. Our annexe room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome."

I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. "The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!"
