"This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. "

"Our family enjoyed our stay! The cabin was private, but not far from the things we needed and wanted to do. It was highly decorated an comfortable. We enjoyed grilling on the back porch in the evenings after long days of outdoor activities nearby like hiking to waterfalls and exploring beaches. And the owners were very quick to respond to questions."

"Absolutely stunning cabin with beautiful decor and finishes. Cabin has access to a sandy beach on Lake Superior and a short drive to the Porcupine Mountains. Host was very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!"

"We had a glitch at check in because we didn’t get our code in advance. Fortunately, the neighbor who is the caretaker of the place gave us the code shortly after arrival.The kitchen was fully-equipped and very clean as well as the rest of the home. Great place for a short vacation with family. Fishing, swimming and boating were the highlights. Lots of room for everyone. Would definitely book again!"

"Our family chose this location for exploring the area in early August. We headed out in a different direction each day and it worked well. We found groceries and more within an easy driving distance in the town of Houghton and mapped out our path of exploration each night before heading out the next morning. "We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for us and two other couples. Kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly need. Ashley was quick to respond when there was an issue with the tv and it was resolved within 15 minutes. She was also excellent at sharing advice about the area and was able to provide some local recommendations for rock hounding! We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"This is an older property that's well kept up. The main bathroom is large and very nice - great if you have a group of women getting ready at the same time! We didn't go downstairs at all so cannot speak for those amenities but the rest of the house was comfortable. We needed 3 bedrooms so this worked out great for us. "
