"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

"Location of property was great but! Stairway was dirty. The unit at first appeared OK but definitely wasn’t a cottage as stated in description. Inside closet in one bedroom was not clean and was not usable. Dishwasher was full of dishes. Bathroom sink drained very slowly must be clogged. Toilet seat was extremely loose, shower mat for tub to prevent it from being slippery was filthy! Full of mold! "First time booking through Keswick cottages and rebooked with them before we even returned home!! ….We could not fault anything at all, from the moment we walked in (the best quality diffusers provided scent were amazing) the property was the immaculately clean. We don’t usually stay so central to Keswick, we chose to because we were taking our cat - as we would want to nip in to him throughout the day - although, he was so happy lounging by the big windows and taking in the beautiful views...
