Circa 1870 Oceanfront Home in Brant Rock - Commanding Views Of The Ocean

This is your vacation - why settle for less? Large, New England style Oceanfront home featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Among the many amenities are free WIFI, cable TV, an outdoor grill, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Unbeatable ocean views, hardwoods, and 10 foot ceilings throughout most of the house. Comfortably sleeps 9 in beds but can sleep many more if sofas and foldout beds are used!

We recently renovated the home, keeping the old New England charm but adding modern elegance and convenience! The home also features new, high-end mattresses and bedding.

This home is on Brant Rock's "high road" and boasts commanding views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the large front porch. Rock Beach is a short stroll down the road or venture to the rocky beach in front of the home to explore and play in the tide pools at low tide. Beaches in area: Brant Rock Beach, Green Harbor Beach, Rexhame Beach and Duxbury Beach. Home is located in walking distance from many popular restaurants. We are also located 0.6 miles away from Peter Igo Park, which provides tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts. You can walk or drive, they have public parking available.

Downstairs contains a large kitchen with appliances, 1 private bedroom with a queen, 1 bathroom (with a shower), a formal dining room, large family room, sitting area with HDTV, and a laundry room. The views from the kitchen, living room, and sitting room are breathtaking. See the photos!

Upstairs contains 3 private, spacious bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, 1 bunk twin/full) and 1 full bathroom (with shower/soaker tub). Lots of closet/storage space. A private enclosed porch is just off the upstairs "master" with 180 degree ocean views. HDTV with cable in the "master."

Spectacular Views

This house was perfect for my family! This house has a great 1st floor master with a full bath right outside the barn-style sliding doors. This was perfect for my Mom because of limited mobility and use of a walker. The three bedrooms upstairs were perfect for my family. This house will swallow a large family and provide them with room to spread out. This house has all the household amenities that you could need. This house will provide you with spectacular views from the family room and the upstairs master. There is nothing but ocean between you and the mornings rising Sun!

Beautiful Home and View

We have a lovely stay here. The house is quite large and has ample space for gathering. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The double beds count as sleeping two people, just to be aware of. The house is on the road right across from the ocean, and there isnā€™t a beach to walk on, but it is a short drive to a beach that is nice. But this did not take away from the beauty of the view and the lovely accommodations!

Ladies Weekend

This house has plenty of room and the owners were prompt at answering a couple questions we had. Check in is at 4:00, but the cleaning crew wasnā€™t finished when we arrived. The house was clean but smelled heavy of Febreeze (nothing a few open windows couldnā€™t fix). Overall, the weekend was absolutely delightful. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful stay in Brant Rock

Every fall my wife and another couple take a mini vacation to sight see and enjoy local restaurants and culture in the area. This year we chose the Massachusetts coast. We used the house for a base camp for day trips to Martha's Vineyard, Boston and Plymouth. The home and the surrounding area, were perfect, with local amenities just minutes away. The house was welcoming clean and quiet functional for travelers on the go. I highly recommend this property, check in and out were easy and convenient. 5 Star!!!

Loved staying here to help balance the hustle if visiting Boston and the ability to reach Plymouth and Cape Cod easily. In easy walking distance from several restaurants, spectacular views and access to the shore added to the value. Weā€™d stay here again!

The Porch

This home was amazing. We enjoyed the front porch so much. Coffee in the morning watching the water. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends sitting out there. So many memories made this trip. It was fun to be back in Marshfield after moving away.

Beautiful spot

Nice house and location, plenty of room. The parking situation with 3-4 cars can be difficult and some of the lights need to be replaced other than that it was great. We had a good time staying there.

Last Minute Family Vacation

The host was very responsive and accommodated our day before reservation. It was a last minute family trip idea to visit Newport, Plymouth and Boston with family from abroad. The home fit our large group comfortably and was a great way to spend some quality time together. The water views were spectacular. We visited during early spring when not much was open but I am sure that during the summer months the area has more to offer. The caretaker of the home was especially helpful

Best porch for coffee

My family was in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for us. Lots of room plus the porch is the best place to enjoy coffee. We watched the most seals Iā€™ve seen in one place playing on the rock outcroppings. Just a very short walk down to lots of restaurants and the market.

Overall the house is tired, but view and house space was great and as described. Pros: -great location -close to restaurants -plenty of space -enough plates, glasses, silverware and towels for a group -bed linen was good quality and fresh Cons: -issues with lighting, flickering or just not working -issues with TVs -no hot tub (as per written description) -backyard was not safe for young children, piles of boards with nails and building trash/supplies to get in to Note: bring games, books, chairs for porch or beach as not supplied (3 chairs on porch) chairs with dining table way too heavy for average person to move.

Wonderful stay

We had an incredible time visiting our family in Massachusetts. We stayed in this beautiful house and had a fantastic time visiting family who all live close by in the South Shore. The views in this house are spectacular. The hosts were always available for any questions we had and we enjoyed the stay.
