"If you are looking for a short, or long getaway, this is your place! It is so quiet and relaxing. There are ducks, geese and a very ornery peacock that my husband named Earl. He LOVES snacks! He is quite voiceterous and very beautiful. The pond is full of fish! Be sure to get permission to catch and release. The owners are very kind and quick to respond on any issues or questions. Enjoy some time at this cabin! You will not be disappointed."

"The cottage is clean, well decorated and nicely appointed. It had everything we needed. There is a section of the yard that is fenced which worked well for our dogs. It is a unique experience to see the old stonework and the progression of the restoration in the photo album. This place has been well loved. The cafe next door has good food and hot and cold drinks definitely worth visiting."

"Very nice little cabin with all the amenities you would need for a short stay. Easy to find and navigate. A BBQ grill would have been a nice addition to have but the accommodations were great nonetheless. Would defiantly recommend for a short stay or a quick getaway !"

"We had nearly 30 people and everyone loved the house. There were some minor issues but nothing that impacted our stay at all. Plenty of linens and towels for all of us. We used a couple of air mattresses since we had more guests than beds but we knew this ahead of time. The location is peaceful and watching the fireflies from the hot tub was an amazing experience. "The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very close to town but remote enough to feel like you were living off grid. TIP: if you want to take a bath, it only has hot water. We filled it a little bit and let it sit overnight to turn cold. Then we added hot water to temp. The shower has both though. The animals were very friendly. I was a little concerned about the hooves on the front of the donkey. They needed a trim very badly. I did let the owner know. Hopefully...

"It's hard to get the adult kids together for a summer vacation, so we tried a quick weekend close to home. That allowed some of them to pop in for a few hours.Eight of us stayed at this property and it was great!! Plenty of room inside and out to hang out and visit! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our crew! The house was clean and comfortable. The pool was the biggest hit!! We will be back!"
