"House was beautiful, lovely decor and furniture. Deck was well appointed with hot tub, grill, patio set. Would have liked just slightly more privacy, side deck was visible from road so passersby could see us hanging out in the hot tub, a privacy screen to the roadside would be an excellent addition. Otherwise, private back area to woods which was nice. "

"The house has a very large open living room upstairs, plenty of bedrooms for us. The backyard is large, although most of it fairly steep slope towards the lake. The lake was up several feet when we stayed, so the beach in the photos was under water. Pella is a 7-8 minute drive away. Overall we liked the property."

We all had private rooms and the common areas were spacious enough to accommodate us all. We walked into downtown Pella daily for the restaurants and shopping, super convenient! "The description is true to the house. It's a charming brick home in a quiet neighborhood. The beds have mattress toppers which were comfortable and soft. The kitchen had pans, cookie sheets, and utensils. Everything you would need to make a meal. It worked well for our family of 6. There was plenty of room to sprawl and be comfortable yet close together for family meals and games. "

"Two couples on our 70's stayed for two nights in June. Communication was great, .with Diana andwering all of our detailed questions. Checkin was easy. The facility and setting was as described: clean, very well supplied and charming. Our favorite feature was the shaded patio overlooking the Shell Rock river. The deck above was not as impressive.
