"We ran into a few kinks on the way there and back home, but every obstacle was worth our stay in the quaint town of Calico Rock. The view from the house and City Rock Bluff didn’t disappoint! My favorite part was running into the game wardens down at the river in Norfork who directed us to places that were even more beautiful. My spouse and I highly recommend staying here, and don’t be afraid to talk to the locals. You’ll be glad you did. Oh, and most things are closed Monday so be sure to plan...

"We had an enjoyable stay. Cynthia was very helpful and her communication was exceptional. We enjoyed the back patio both morning and evenings. Listening to the birds with a cup of coffee in the morning was delightful! The house was older but cozy, I didn't want to leave! I couldn't ask for more. It was in beautiful location to drive through and a little house in a wonderful setting."

"We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down."

"A very relaxing place to just unwind. Great views, with a lot of things to see and do within a short drive. The creek in front of the cabin did not have an abundance of water, it was the right amount to have the relaxing sound of the water rolling through the rocks. The cabin was nice and spacious, with everything you would need to have a great trip. We really enjoyed our days there, and definitely see a return trip in the future."

"The most enjoyable thing we did at the cabin was sit on the porch and listen to the rain. It's a great spot for peace and quiet. "We planned and attended a wedding at Blanchard Springs area. My father is 92 and loves the river. He enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watch the river roll by. The view was beautiful. This property was very clean, modern, and elegant. The bedrooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this property for a larger family. All 8 of us enjoy the stay."
