"We loved our stay in this beautiful, secluded oceanfront cottage! The home had everything we needed and the view was absolutely amazing! Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location."

"Amazing property! Photos don't capture the beauty of this place. Inside of cabin is unbelievable. Modern fixtures, incredible ceiling fans, light dimmer on all overhead lights, sky lights, large windows and a beautiful bathroom. I could go on. Fully stocked with everything you need, just bring food. To say my dogs enjoyed their stay would be an understatement. "It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well."

"This was a perfectly peaceful and relaxing stay. The host thought of everything! The lapping water on the lake was a soothing background night and day. There is a road nearby, but the traffic is so minimal that it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. We packed a cooler because there’s not much nearby for restaurants, but that was fine because we didn’t have much desire to go anywhere. We had one slight issue that was immediately addressed within minutes with multiple apologies. We...

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "

"This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! "

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"We love Maine summers and Jenny's home is perfect for our family. We look forward to the relaxation and getting away from things for a while. The view out the numerous windows and doors in the back towards Holmes Bay is spectacular. You can see the tides come in and out and the view faces almost due west for great sunset views every evening. The home has all the supplies we need to be comfortable for the week. "This place was perfect. That porch over looking the lake and the stars. Lots of wildlife to see. The house is perfect, stocked with all the essentials and more then I’ve ever had in a vrbo stay. The cabin is far enough away to be quiet, but close to all the essentials. I’ve been to Machias area a million times, this was the best visit yet. I’ve already booked my week for next year. Next year Im hoping to see a moose."

"We had a great week on Beal’s! Check-in was easy, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the house was light, airy, clean, and perfectly set up for our family. Phil was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful sunrises, nice spot to sit by the water, great walks/hikes nearby, great seafood, friendly community, and far from the tourism and crowds further down the coast—we booked for next year before we even left! "Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. "We had a truly wonderful week in Jonesport. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is great for that, top notch equipment, as nice as our home kitchen plus some spices and sugar and so forth for convenience.
