Established in 2019, Studio du Lac is a very special hideaway just for two, providing you with all you need for the perfect stay in beautiful Marseillan. It benefits from an unrivalled waterside location just a leisurely 10 minute stroll from picturesque Marseillan port and the charming old town with its shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. You can also easily enjoy the unspoilt long sandy Mediterranean beaches as it's only a short 10 minute drive to the nearest one at Marseillan Plage, or you can cycle there on the dedicated track opposite the studio, using the free bicycles we provide.

Two opportunities for outside living.
From the privacy of your front terrace you can enjoy panoramic views of Sète's Mont St Clair, which appears island-like across the lagoon, and the yachts of Marseillan marina. There is always something different to watch on the sparkling waters of the Étang du Thau, be it yachts, small dinghies, barges, wind- and kite-surfers. Sometimes you will just want to enjoy the ever-changing colours of the water.

The front terrace gives you the opportunity to plan your day with a coffee and croissants in the warm sunshine, or to enjoy a romantic late-evening drink with your loved one, watching the magical twinkling of lights across the lagoon at Sète.

Whilst the nautically-themed side courtyard provides you with another table and chairs, together with a barbeque and hot tub.

At the end of a day spent enjoying all the delights this wonderful area offers, imagine relaxing in the two person hot tub, maybe underneath the stars on one of the fabulously warm summer nights.

Two deep and wide seats in the tub allow you and your significant other to relax in spacious comfort. Integral arm rests, drink holders and separate jet controls make it both practical and comfortable. One of the seats even incorporates the exclusive Aqua Rolling Massage™ system for the ultimate in back therapy.

Gas BBQ Grill
Then as a change from visiting one of the many excellent restaurants around Marseillan harbour or in the old town, what could be nicer than grilling some fresh sardines on the gas BBQ, maybe preceded by some fresh oysters and washed down with a glass or two of the award-winning local wines?

Relax Inside
You may not want to spend much time inside during your holiday, but for when you do, you will find all you need for a very comfortable stay. The studio is fully air-conditioned, but may be heated during the cooler months. For your entertainment, there's a Smart TV with UK and French TV channels, Netflix and YouTube, plus a Bluetooth speaker and i-Pod dock. Also of course all the cookware, crockery and glasses necessary if you feel like enjoying a meal in for a change. And you'll enjoy a good night's sleep in the comfortable king-size bed.
