I rarely go into a hotel pool or hot tub because they are often not well maintained, but this was literally the best pool and hot tub you will find in any hotel. "Front desk staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows held their fluff. The breakfast attendant was on top of things and was attentive to making sure food was filled at all times. The hot tub was very warm but the jets didn't work the best. Overall, it was a great stay. "My son and I went to the UP for 3 nights. We were extremely pleased right from the beginning. The Gentleman that checked us in was great. He was friendly AND interested in what we were thinking about doing in our trip to the area. The Ladies at the counter when we checked out were just as friendly. "I have stayed at this hotel 3 years ago, and it was ok. Now I found it worse. It is getting older and noisier. Just by walking in the room, everything makes noise. If you get a room downstairs, hope not to have a guest on the room above you."
