"My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Farm. They included so many amenities with no additional fee. The lake was amazing and we spent most of our weekend fishing and swimming. We will be back next year. "

"My son was at S bar F scout camp and instead of driving back to St. Louis we stayed at this gem. Quiet and cozy. Our dogs loved it too. Close to St. Francis River/Silver Mines Rec area. "

"Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. We already want to go back. "

"This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. "We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company."

"We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. "Wanted to do something special for a little get away with my granddaughter...And wow she was so surprised and so excited there was trails we did some fishing the property supplied the fishing rods we sat around the campfire roasted marshmallows, played records on the vintage player so cool and the coolest was our shower it was awesome it is an outside shower with a big rain shower head cute as come be Everything was supplied from shampoo to body wash. We had an awesome welcome packet cookies...

"Beautiful clean well stocked cabin in the woods. Freshly remodeled with beautiful woodwork and cozy home feeling. Scott Michelle are great hosts. Close to many fun things to do in the Ozarks like Johnson shut-ins elephant rocks, canoeing hiking and lots of other outdoor activities"

"If you want to be secluded this is the place for you. You are away from it all. Amazing secluded cabin that is close to multiple great state parks! "

"We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all."

"Our visit was short but so special. Waylon and Kaci have created a sweet haven of rest in the woods of Missouri. We so appreciated the chance to unplug for a bit. Can’t recommend enough! "
