"Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. "

"The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. "My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions.
