"The property was beautiful. Everything was clean. I didn't take it to take advantage of the hot tub because of rain, but the couple days I did get in it was very relaxing. There's a Perkins and a Ledo Pizza close by that I ordered from takeout. They're just about 3-5 miles up the road which is nice. There were houses close by but with the woods and the trees it felt quiet and private. It was just a quiet time with me and my cats. Would definitely recommend."

"Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. "Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe.
