"Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."

"We didn’t get off to the best start as arrived to find a notice on the pub door to say that there was no power and pub was shut! Had to call a number to book in, young man arrived and assured us that our rooms were unaffected and that breakfast would be provided in the morning. Room clean and comfortable, major plus was good sized bath towels. Breakfast was indeed provided, full English cooked fresh to order, Kevin was lovely. Only complaint is that we weren’t forewarned about the pub being...

"I was not really happy with the room I was given. I booked a normal room, but received a room for an impaired person. I was put in room 1. The shower was a wet floor shower, which was not too bad, but the bed was terrible. The mattress had collapsed and I ended up sleeping ( actually I didn't sleep) in a dip, ended up with body aches."

"A distinct lack of staff all through my stay particularly at breakfast. Reception was unattended both at check in and check out."
