"The bar was wonderful - loved the jazz band that was there on Sunday! The staff are attentive and helpful. Parking is great. And the hotel style is a great mix of cool and charming. It’s a great location to walk to restaurants and shopping, and because of that it can be noisy in the evenings especially on weekends - but it does quiet down and is just part of being in the middle of everything. "I'm hesitant to write a review, because this is the best-kept secret stay in Bellingham! The crew at the Coachman deserve it though. Everything was well-kept and clean. From the grounds/landscaping that I noticed right away, to the rooms and the breakfast and check-in area. I will stay there again the next time I'm in town. I visited with some of the staff, and they are genuinely appreciative of my stay and very personable."

"The room I was put in was on the ground level. Unfortunately, the ceiling / floor above transfered noice exceedingly well. As a result, the noise of the people above me each night during a three day stay was intolerable. I would not recommend a room on the ground level."

"Breakfast was great. All fresh and great variety to choose from. The only problem we had was every day our power went out while using our own blow dryer. You'd think a big place like that would be wired properly so it wouldn't trip breakers. Go figure. Still, that was a minor issue and we will definitely stay here again."
