Romantic island cottage in cosy style near beach

This cottage is small and cozy and has a good, old-fashioned cottage atmosphere that invites true relaxation and family fun. It's calm and beautiful, not just in the house, but also on the small island, Askø, which is both scenic and offers a real island atmosphere. It is decorated in a Nordic, slightly romantic and above all cozy cottage style with natural materials and personal details. The old light wooden floors and white-painted wood give the house a calm atmosphere that's great for a vacation.



The living room's soft sofa invites you to relax and read a good book while the wood-burning stove crackles and warms, and around the round dining table there's plenty of space for a nice meal and a game of board games. The kitchen is newly renovated, but kept in the warm, cozy style that characterizes the house. The house has two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and the other with a double bed and a bunk bed above the foot of the bed.



If you're a morning person, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace by the kitchen - sometimes a fox comes by early in the morning. The terrace is also a great place to enjoy both lunch and dinner - it's sunny all day and the sunset is also beautiful to enjoy here. In the garden you can cozy up in the hammock with a good book, and when you've had enough of the heat and need to cool off or rinse off the beach sand, you can rinse off under the beautiful outdoor shower where you can stand in privacy. In the garden, you'll also find a cozy fire pit area perfect for a campfire meal or snow cones.



The cottage comes with four bicycles. Cycle out to the beach on Lilleø, from where there is a beautiful view of Fejø and Femø. On the island there is both a grocery store and a library that is run voluntarily on the island - here the holiday home owners have bought a share of the grocery store, which is open two hours a day, and at the library it's 'take a book - return a book,' with the confidence that comes from the lovely island life. If you're planning an excursion, you can find Knuthenborg close to the cottage. You can also take a trip to Femø and Fejø.
