Quick Delta Trip for work
A colleague of mine had a trip out to Lee County for work. We had heard about this hunting cabin as an alternative to staying at branded hotels up in Forrest City and decided to check it out. We really enjoyed it. So refreshing to wake up to the sound of birds and a beautiful view of the pond. Compliments to the owners on the choice of interior finishes. Seemed like there was use of reclaimed wood and other materials that presented as both rustic and comfortable.

Perfect cabin getaway
Excellent stay at the cabin! Perfect tranquility with pond view from the incredible porch. The wildlife were fun to watch, from the geese in the pond to the deer late in the evening. The cabin was very comfortable with all the amenities you could desire. We grilled steaks on the charcoal grill one evening, and cooked meals the other evenings in the very well supplied kitchen. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing stay. Next time I am in this area we will definitely stay again!

Cabin in Marianna AR
Cabin was lovely and exactly as described. A perfect country get away. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Working Vacation
We are here on business and almost rented a hotel room. My wife started looking and found this gem of a place to stay. It has been better than expected!

Arkansas Paradise
My wife and I came from central Oklahoma and our children, and two grandchildren came from central Tennessee. It was pretty much middle ground. The pictures provided are beautiful and accurate, but like all pictures, don't do justice to the real thing. As you drive in your breath is taken away with the beauty of the pond and cabin. It is postcard beautiful and when you go inside the cabin the spaciousness is amazing. All six of us were extremely comfortable and the kids loved the bunks. The trails around the lake and through the woods were a big hit. Unfortunately, the only critters we saw was a beautiful but dangerous calf killer ant, turtles, tadpoles and what we believe was a muskrat in the trees at east side of pond. While we would have loved to see other critters and kids to catch some fish, the peace and tranquility was God's Blessing to all of us. Mississippi River State Park provided swimming for the kids and some beautiful drives through the countryside. Communication with the Hosts was quick and professional before and during our stay and earned the "Premiere Host" title, in our opinion. This is truly one of those things that IS Better than it looks.

Quiet relaxing get away
I could write a book but I don’t have enough space but this is our second time staying at this wonderful place such a beautiful and relaxing place this home has everything a person need to be very comfortable please notice I said HOME because it’s home away from home we will definitely be coming back soon (Pearson) and (Woods) and (Coleman) sisters LOVE❤️

Spectacular view, super clean, cute, perfect!
We so enjoyed our stay here. The house was adorable, well-kept, and super clean. The living and dining rooms were roomy. The porch, views, and grounds are beautiful. A perfect and convenient place to stay for us, even on a rainy weekend. We will definitely book here again.

Had a great time relaxing, enjoying the National Forrest and catching up with friends at the Lazy SS Lodge. Convenient location and the property manager was excellent to work with. This was our group’s third stay here.

great place to stay but a little confusing on how to find the property.
The address you type in your GPS 1201 does not take you to the proper property location. The entrance could be more obvious for customers but we found it and it was a great experience otherwise.

Great place to stay
I booked this for a co-worker for one night while he was passing through the area. He loved it so much he asked to keep it a second night and stay again on his way back home. The property is beautiful. We will be using this rental again.

Nice, laid back getaway.
My son rented cabin last Thanksgiving, it was so nice, i rented it for 4th for a family gathering. The place is nice, spacious, tranquil n peaceful. Amenities were good, except the wi-fi reception. That was a small issue, that we didn't really miss. The children that came thru really enjoyed the open outside. Love the back porch n rocking chairs that overlook the pond n the shade from the trees n the cool breeze. If I could sum it up in one word, I would say "TRANQUILITY"!

Perfect family time
We love staying at the cabin and this is our second visit! The house is perfect for family meals and hanging out. The grounds give us room for family to gather and rock on the porch or fish are puns the pond. We caught a couple of small large mouth bass. The kids had a blast.

Weekend Hunting Trip
This is our group's second stay at this property and we plan on more. Clean, comfortable cabin with a great view over the pond. We hunted (deer) at nearby farm, enjoyed grilled steaks in the evening and watched a few football games when not hunting. The owners were great in communication and accommodating our request. Great cabin!

Serene Experience
This a wonderful location. Even though we were only a few miles from town we enjoyed a secluded location. If you love the outdoors this will not disappoint. Everything was as advertise. It is actually better. If available I will rent again anytime I am in the area.

Perfection!
My family of 4 booked this adorable cabin very last minute to break up an 11hr road trip from my son’s baseball tournament in Branson back home to New Orleans. We absolutely loved this place! It is a bit off the beaten path but totally worth it. Beautiful property. The attention to detail was spot on. The host did a great job on this cabin! Clean, quiet, relaxing & just what we needed after a very hectic week. The kids loved fishing & finding wildlife with the binoculars provided by the host. We enjoyed watching them from the rocking chairs on huge porch. We all enjoyed playing board games, seeing fireflies & having movie nights in the evening. If you’re looking for some down time where you can just relax in nature, this is it!

Home comforts
We loved staying here. Plenty of room, quiet setting, and best of all was the ability to spend precious time with our Monroe county family that we hadn’t seen since nov 2019. The deck was perfect for the older crowd to rock and talk. Kids enjoyed fishing the pond....we took trips to MS River State Park to fish the stocked pond. We took gravel road walks and caught lightning bugs. Cooking family meals there meant lots of time eating and laughing together! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Spring Break 2021

Great Camp for Outdoorsman
Well furnished and equipped. Clean and comfortable. The property has great outdoor sitting. Highly recommended over any other accommodations in the area for 50 miles each direction.

Cozy cabin
What a great cabin in a beautiful little spot! We loved walking around the lake, watching the sunsets, enjoying time on the porch and just hanging out in the cabin. And the Christmas decorations really made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Guys trips
Our stay at the Lazy SS Lodge was awesome. There were six guys visiting Marianna/Lee County for a weekend hunting trip and the accommodations at the cabin could not have been better. The cabin comfortably slept 6 and was super clean. The view from the cabin porch was great. We hunted at a nearby by farm in the morning, were able to come back to the cabin for lunch (grilled duck and venison) and to watch a little football and then back out for an afternoon hunt. Great location as you are only minutes from Marianna for groceries, etc. but the cabin has a feel that you are far removed from town. The property manager was very accommodating, and the communication was great. We are definitely planning another stay.

Amazing family getaway
The cabin is more beautiful inside than the pictures portray! The view from the living/dining room is phenomenal. The kids LOVED the bunk bed and seeing deer from the dining room table. They loved the rocks and playground on site as well as hiking the property. The fire pit was very relaxing and the weather was perfect for us to make s’mores and spend time together. We have made incredible memories at this lovely little cabin and plan on returning in the future! Thank you for a beautiful, quiet getaway from the chaos of 2020. :)
