"Great lodging above the historic tavern. Rooms very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our surprisingly large comfortable room had a king and historic charm of the clawfoot tub, a throwback to earlier times. Room had plenty of seating. No tv. Good wifi."

"Everything was wonderful during our stay. Our reservation was somehow messed up or something because Wendy thought we were checking in on Saturday instead of Friday. However when we arrived in Greeneville close to midnight Friday night, I contacted our host, and Wendy immediately got back to us and drove over to assist us in accessing the cottage and quickly prepare the space for us. "This is a cozy little cabin about halfway between Hot Springs and Trust. With the windows open we could hear the creek. Is was very convenient for us to let the dogs out in the fenced yard. I like a shower with a hand shower head so that was a definite plus. If you will be eating all you meals in Hot Springs, as we did, it is an 8 mile drive back and forth on a curving mtn road. The smokey Mountain diner is yummy for breakfast. Would stay again."

"This little plot of land is so special, it rained most of my stay but I didn’t mind one bit! Mountain rain is one of the best things on the planet. The host created a very comfortable, cozy space on the property and I am grateful to have had the pleasure. Thank you to Danni & to the wonderful garden workers at Bluff Mountain Nursery for their kindness and hospitality all weekend—would love to come back and take advantage of the farm tour/animal meet-and-greet next time!"

"We booked the house on a whim, and had no idea what we were getting into. We took the hosts suggestions and took the ski lift twice and spent half a day exploring bald eagle mountain. The remainder for the time my kids begged to play at the cabin or at the creek at the bottom of the hill. The weekend felt like a home away from home, very comfy. Thank you so much for having us."

"We rented Viking Mountain Lodge for my mom’s 80th birthday (4 adults and 1 yellow lab). The cabin is as advertised - beautiful location and everything we needed. recommend the drive to the top of Viking Mountain and the hike to Blackstack Cliffs. The village of Hot Springs is really cool and the AT runs straight through downtown. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail!"
