Intolerable
It was so bad we left 5 days early. We got zero help from VRBO or the Harborview realty company. We notified Harborview immediately, but should have contacted Vrbo first. The bed frame was broken, the mattress looked as though a murder had been committed on it-urine and semen stains on the mattress pad cover, large stains and what looks like black mold, with huge divots in the mattress. (I have lots of photos) And all of this after my inquiring about needing a good bed, before we booked this unit! They absolutely lied to us! We literally turned the mattress 90 degrees, the wrong way, in order to try to get some rest. Impossible! Our refrigerator died, we lost a lot of money on food we had purchased, the shower leaks, and the laundry machines weren’t in working order. No one cared to call us back or help us. They brought a mattress topper and a frame after two days, but the filthy mattress and the divots couldn’t be fixed with that effort. We have never been so exasperated or felt so alone. Once the refrigerator went out and no one would help, we made a decision to just get out. After spending this much money for 2 weeks, we are absolutely devastated with the waste of our vacation, the cost of purchasing last minute plane tickets, and losing all of our groceries. This was a sad, devastating, and disheartening experience. The people who are managing this unit for the owner are absolutely abusing his trust in them. The unit was filthy. No decent linens in this unit.
