"We left immediately. Heavy use of cleaning chemicals masked an underlying problem with dust/mildew/mold. Our children complained of scratchy throats in first 30 minutes, we noticed it ourselves after an hour. Trash all over grounds as well as a general unkempt property, pictures show what we cleaned up for them before leaving. Mail overflowing mailbox. Should not be listed again without major modifications."

"The house was the perfect quiet hideaway in a quaint little historic town. The layout is quirky but you soon get used to it and it all makes sense. ENORMOUS surrounding green space and perfect patio placement to watch the storms blow through. Well stocked and easy to reset."

The home is beautiful and filled with antiques and reproductions that make it easy to envision the past. "Communication with owner was great. This is one of the cleanest rentals I have stayed at. The beds and actually all the furniture was very comfortable. We loved having a place we could go and relax at after long days of sight seeing in DC. The metro station was close and easy to get to. Neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. We really enjoyed this stay."
