We arrived tired and couldnt wait to relax. We checked in and had a little trouble finding the room. Walking down the pathway to the room it was full of black mold and smelled like it. I wasnt expecting the Ritz but at 140.00 a night you would think the place would at least be clean. There was a table and chairs on a small platform outside the room that looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a couple of yrs. The floor in the bedroom was dirty and the pillowcases had stains of rust on them.
We took a walk to the pool area and around the inside was green mold. At this point we decided this was not a place to spend 2 nights.
We went back to the office and told Skyler we wanted our money back and that we took pics of the area and room. She called the manager who ended up being the owners daughter who was very rude and told us she would only refund 1 night and if we wanted another room it would be $239.00. We both laughed and said no thanks, keep it. Sad that we booked this through Expedia. I will be calling them to report our incident. You would be wise to travel a bit further down the road for $22.00 more you can stay in a clean, free breakfast, Fairfield Inn and Suites. Lastly the owners should be ashamed of themselves that they dont know what a little bleach might do. I do have pics but theres no place to upload.
