Perfect!
I cannot fault The Cozy Cabin on the Cedar River. A truly idyllic setting; it was quiet, comforting and totally relaxing. The cabin had a wonderful woody fragrance and the sound of the Cedar River put me to sleep at night. A short trip into downtown for supplies. Just about every amenity you could need. Getting into Seattle wasn't terribly difficult. Like any city, it has traffic on the major highways, but I got into Seattle in about 45 minutes. I may go back to Seattle next year; if I do, you can be sure I'll be staying at The Cozy Cabin on the Cedar River!

Soooo lovely! Good for the soul!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is rustic, comfortable but what really sealed the deal was the proximity to the Cedar River! A few steps out the door and you are at water's edge in amongst lovely old and new trees and the sun dappling through. Stick your feet in! It really does wonders to replenish nature starved suburban or city dwellers. I would would love to say "noooo, don't go there" so it may always be available when we want to go back, but but that would be selfish of me. It really is a lovely getaway!

Awesome cabin!
Everything about this place is wonderful: the location, the amenities, the cuteness of it, being near the river, cleanliness, easy check-in, having our own fire pit next to the river, the parking, dog friendly, the hosts (they are so nice and friendly). It's a perfect place to stay when we visit our son and family near by.

Quaint little cabin
Stayed here in July 2023 and was pleasantly surprised at the great location in a wooded area but close enough to amenities. There is the Cedar River behind the cabin that we put our feet in and our dog had a great time removing all the sticks out of the water. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, clean, secluded
This place is more beautiful than any of these pictures. The surrounding forest and river were as enchanting as they were rejuvenating. Cabin was clean and felt safe. Would definitely come back if staying in maple valley area.

Peaceful and we loved it!
Clean with everything we needed. Nice peaceful location along a beautiful river. Owner is super nice. We enjoyed our stay. We are visiting family in the area so this was very convenient. Thanks for having your cabin available for us!

Small and Cozy
This cabin was quaint and cozy. The location was perfect and Rachel was a great communicator. Our only issue was the steep stairs to the basement - very narrow. The restroom is upstairs so it is a little hazardous when you have to get up in the night. We loved hearing the river and imagine it is very enjoyable during the summer months.

We really loved how quaint the cabin was and how quiet and relaxing the whole experience was. Rachel and Brian were awesome but Ziggy stole our hearts. Close to all you need and enjoyed family and friends visiting us.

Beauty in the Backwoods
This experience was sublime. I loved the layout. It's more tiny house meets cabin in the woods, as best I can describe it. Very well laid out space. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all essentials, the coziness of the quaint balcony, the reading nook, comfy bed... I enjoyed myself. The neighborhood outside of the area is convenient. Close by shops, restaurants, gas stations, and a short hop to touristy places. I will definitely be back!!

Our new go to in Maple Valley
We had a really relaxing visit at the cabin. The house was clean and adorable, we loved playing with Ziggy (yellow lab) when he was outside. We enjoyed sitting by the river next to the fire pit. We visit Maple Valley a couple times a year and will definitely make this our new “go to” spot.

Darling little cabin!!!!
Very clean and cozy. It was just the perfect place for my husband and I to spend a couple of nights while visiting family. Our golden retriever, Cooper made a new friend in Ziggy; He showed Cooper the ropes on how to take a nice dip in the River. Rachel is a thoughtful and great host. The setting is beautiful, as it sits steps from the river. Morning coffee of the deck was the BEST!!!! Will be back.

The river cabin stay was a great experience. The location to Maple Valley, Enumclaw, Crystal and Mount Rainier was very convenient. I expect a future stay at the cabin.

Perfect for my needs.
I enjoyed staying here SO much. I was looking for a place where I could get away for the weekend, just me and my dog, and leave the family behind. I was hoping for quiet, calm, and comfy, and I was not disappointed. I met Ziggy the dog on day 2, and he is a magnificent, giant goof. He played with my pup and was very friendly. The property owners were responsive but very respectful of my privacy and space. Comfy bed and great wifi. I would absolutely come back!

Perfect place by a lovely river
We came to Maple Valley for a friend’s wedding and this little cabin was the perfect spot to spend the night afterward. We brought our dog and she has a blast playing in the river the next morning. The hosts have a huge dog named Ziggy and he is very friendly. Great size for two people and a dog. We would definitely come back here for a short weekend getaway, any season of the year, however the fall colors make this place especially cute right now.

Lovely Cozy Cabin
This is our 2nd time staying at this cabin. This place is a must! Once you stay here, you will want to come back. It's such a cute cozy dollhouse-like cabin. It's so awesome to see and hear the Cedar River from the place, and it's even better to sit out on the balcony and view the peacefulness of the river and the trees, and also to walk down to the river and sit on the chairs provided, and enjoy a cocktail, with a bonfire if you wish. This cabin has all the amenities that you need, with plenty of parking, with a personal warm touch from the hosts. Rachel and Brian are so sweet and helpful if you need anything, and they respect your privacy. We can't wait to come here again. We highly recommend this place, you will love it and never want to leave.

A Cozy Dream in the Forest
As lovely as the photos depict! This vintage cabin combines old (the woodburning fireplace) with the new (a fully functional kitchen, smart TV) in an impactful way. We particularly loved the downstairs reading nook and the upstairs balcony, where we ate breakfast to a glorious view. Speaking of glorious views, that backyard really is everything and more. Smells of lush trees perfectly compliment the calming river. We recommend using the thoughtfully placed deck chairs to enjoy the water as much as possible. Would absolutely love to be back someday!

Perfect getaway for a solo trip!
What a sweet lil cabin in the woods to make you feel like you're away from it all but really it's not super far away and equipped with all the essentials to make your stay easy. Comfy bed, nice view of the river, Netflix, even a cute house cat to snuggle if you want. Easy and quick communication with the owners who were more than generous and accomadating, I will be back !! Great Retreat Away from the Busyness of Life
We stayed here because we were attending a wedding near here. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Their photos on the sight were accurate for the cabin. WIFI worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & time in the chairs near the river. Thank you so much for sharing this cabin with us.

Perfect weekend escape
A friend and I stayed for two nights. The cabin was adorable and well-stocked for all our needs. The river was a quick walk behind the cabin with chairs and tables suitable for the location. We cooked in the very usable kitchen, availed ourselves of the Roku TV at night when it was dark, used the provided beach towels after dipping our toes into the river, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the very friendly kitty who kept us company outside. There were a few unexpected eight-legged guests but it’s a cabin in the woods; we should’ve expected them. Nothing to interfere with our stay or prevent us from booking again, which we’re already planning! Great property, great hosts, and a perfect weekend escape.

Just what we needed…
This is a perfect little cabin in the woods! It’s a quaint older dwelling in a quiet neighborhood and just a stone’s throw away from the river. It was very clean and had everything that you would need for a little getaway. The bed was VERY comfortable! There is close access to climbing, hiking, biking and anything else you’d like to do outdoors. We didn’t have much interaction with the hosts…probably because they had everything taken care of. We loved the area and can’t wait to get back!

Maple Valley Bliss!
We absolutely loved this cabin! Rachel and her husband were the perfect hosts. Even their cute kitty came to say hello and welcome us. We loved our fire pit by the river. Very warm and relaxing. It was our favorite place to go at the end of the day. The cabin is intimate and charming with all the modern amenities. We will definately visit again. Cheers! Rich & Ellay

Nice cottage on the river
This cute historic cabin in the woods and on the Cedar River was the perfect solo getaway for a couple of days. I read a book in a chair down by the river bank while watching the birds, lounged on the couch or in the cozy bed watching movies on my laptop, and ambled up the road a bit to the Cedar River Trail where I proceeded to walk for a total of six miles--I could've walked much more, the trail goes on for many miles so if you are a biker, bring your bike! There was nothing lacking, the cabin has everything you could need. Very relaxing, highly recommend!

A Slice of Heaven
The property was special and one of a kind. You can hear the beautiful river right outside your balcony. It was an easy twenty minute drive to the big city Seattle sights like the Space Needle and Pike's Place. Then we just relaxed in a dreamlike forest setting for the evening. Rachel and Brian were perfect hosts that completed a wonderful vacation.
