"We had a great week at the cottage in Cobden. Andre was great at communicating everything we needed to know before we arrived and was quick to respond to messages. The cottage is comfortable, and had all the basics needed for the week. We loved watching the sunset every night, and BBQing on the deck overlooking the water. Lots of space for lawn games, and feels very private from the neighbours. Easy access to the lake from the shore, a few weeds and rocks, but not too difficult to navigate....

"We had such a great stay at this cottage! The property was beautiful and clean, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun getaway. There’s also a small island nearby with little beaches and shallow water. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. We’d definitely love to come back!"

"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The fishing was alot of fun, although we would recommend beach shoes due to the clams. The sunsets are amazing! Such a quiet spot, but yet close to activities like white water rafting, the Bonnechere caves, and any shopping necessities. A lovely spot for a family vacation. "

"We had a very nice week at this cottage. It’s a quieter part of the river, boat-wise, so good SUP’ing and kayaking. Good fishing spots too. The cottage is on the smaller side, but it sleeps six comfortably, and otherwise we spent all our time outside, so we did not mind the smaller living area. We brought a pop-up shelter to create more shade near the water, as it’s on the sunny side. It was our second trip to this cottage, counting last year, and we are looking forward to another week this...

"Stayed 10 days with 5 adults & 2 small children under five. The hosts were friendly, helpful & easily reachable. Family home atmosphere -big enough to escape the crowd & cozy enough for family entertainment. Outdoor activities - canoeing, kayaking, building sandcastles, swing set, sauna, Indoor games galore for rainy days. "This was a beautiful location, the lake was fantastic and the water was very clear. We enjoyed the cottage; it was well equipped and the outdoor space was gorgeous. We used the kayaks and the floating island per Chris's instructions and the kids loved it. We were there during a heatwave, thankfully there is a portable air conditioning unit that kept us from being uncomfortable. Great support from the host, he made sure we had all the information we needed before our stay. Highly recommend!"
