They offered to cancel when I questioned it, but the hold was already applied and they don’t release quick enough to allow another room to be booked elsewhere. So we stayed. "The stay was good. It is a 60s motel and just a few outlets. Not one in the bathroom. Other than that the setting outside watching the boats go by and a great view of the river."

"The hotel served its purpose of a place to lay our heads and pretty much nothing else. The bathtub/shower was pretty filthy, but the room itself was fine. It was in a very quiet location & easily accessible. There was no water fountain & breakfast was interesting, as it is in the Asian restaurant connected to the hotel? Overall, it was just fine and worked for what we needed & a cheap price point."

"This was the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at. Great rooms! We own a timeshare and the room was like one at a resort. We were there for 5 days/4 nights. We had a 4th floor room with balcony. We did not have the lake view, but we were able to see the town and the river. Our friends with us had a lake view with a balcony and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant on the 5th floor and had great food. Unfortunately it was foggy and we could not see anything out the windows. The...

"Perfect for families! The puttputt and playground were large and fun and there were comfortable picnic tables for eating outside, enjoying the weather and the stunning view. The rooms were VERY large! We had a double queen and while you could tell the hotel is undergoing renovations, it was nice, quiet and comfortable. The updates that were going on lead me to believe that as nice as it is right now, next year will be even better."
