"I'll be honest, we always pick a place that our dogs will love and this fit the bill perfectly. The house is well kept and full of charm. The yard is lovely with the plants and flowers blooming and the dock on the river was the highlight of every morning. The dogs are exhausted and we are relaxed. Thank you sharing your space! "

"This place is awesome so much room and activities. Mostly adults stayed but it would be great with smaller children as well. Very nice pool they would enjoy. Great neighborhood and peaceful. Definitely would stay again. Host was very responsive as well. Thank you!"

"The house was just as pictured and described! Stayed here with my spouse and two-year-old for just one night on our way driving down to NC from Philly. The house is super cute, and the host has thought of everything you might have forgotten (like toothbrushes, Tylenol, feminine products, etc,). Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’ll definitely book again if we’re making the drive down again! "

"A lovely cottage for some true peace and quiet away from the city. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is built for someone short - so just beware if you are over 5’4” it’s going to require a lot of slouching! Overall, a truly peaceful stay. "

"We needed a place for the week as close as possible to Randolph Macon college, this was the most perfect, cozy home. We enjoyed our stay there. House was perfect size, nice and cool during the hot summer week. The house was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone anytime. "Overall this was a very desirable location and rental. Huge front and back yard, well decorated and smelled awesome when we walk in. Minor issues with microwave handle being broken on the bottom and uncleaned oven that created a lot of smoke when turned on. We cleaned as best we could to prepare dinner and carried on. I would recommend. "

"The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch morning and evening. Its location is near major roads but away from the city. A Dollar General store is located a few 100 yards away that supplied all our grocery needs. "
